Helianthus Annuus Seed (Sunflower) Oil

Function: skin conditioning - emollient, fragrance A lightweight oil commonly used as a carrier oil. It is considered to be a non-comedogenic raw material. Sunflower seed oil softens and smooths the skin thanks to its high linoleic acid and other fatty acid content. It also contains an array of antioxidants such as Vitamins A, C and E, making it an ideal anti-ageing ingredient. It is an ingredient effective in moisture retention as it forms a natural barrier on the outermost layer of the skin in order to protect the skin from trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL).
