In vitro
Commonly referred as "test tube" testing. These are studies that are performed with microorganisms, cells, or biological molecules outside their normal biological context.

Genetically programmed ageing. It is responsible for approximately 10% of the ageing process, primarily by slow irreversible tissue degeneration.
