Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter

Function: skin conditioning, viscosity controlling

Butyrospermum parkii butter is the fat obtained from the fruit of the Shea tree (Butyrospermum parkii, Sapotaceae).

Containing a range of fatty acids, including oleic, stearic, linoleic acid, Shea Butter is highly regarded for its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. Combining vitamins A, C and E, it also serves as an excellent emollient by soothing dry skin, restoring moisture and improving skin elasticity, thus protecting the skin from dehydration and external aggressions due to environmental stressors.
